Summer 2020, Rebecca and other students affiliated with The University of Chicago came together (virtually) to create the Coda Game Collective, a group of designers and students who advocate for games and new media as powerful tools for imagination and expression, especially for underrepresented communities. The purpose of the Post-Police Design Challenge was to support the Black Lives Matter movement by creating a space in which designers and artists from a variety of backgrounds could come together to discuss police violence and different approaches to a more just society.
